To provide a more complete service to our community here in Armthorpe, we now offer free hearing tests with a highly-trained audiologist. Dealing with hearing loss is a challenging experience for anyone, but finding the right way to manage it can make a huge difference to your quality of life. With a free hearing test, you can start the journey towards improving your hearing in a way that works for you.
WAX REMOVAL
We now offer wax removal services to help our clients improve their hearing loss. Wax is always present in the ear, but too much of it leads to hearing loss and discomfort. Through a safe and painless microsuction procedure, we can remove any excess ear wax and in many cases radically improve your hearing.
The first part of our hearing care service is to diagnose hearing loss and help find a solution that works for you. The second part is to check in with you to ensure your device is still working properly and to retest your hearing. At these aftercare appointments, we can repair your device if needed, make any changes to your personalised hearing solution and give you the latest advice and information about hearing care.
HEARING DEVICE AFTERCARE
Professional
Avner graduated in 2010 from the University of Manchester with a BSc (Hons) Audiology degree. During his training, Avner worked in various hospitals including North Manchester General, Wythenshawe, Sheffield Paediatric Specialists and on the Manchester Cochlear Implant Team. He then went on to work for several hearing companies, developing a keen appreciation of the variety of hearing aids that are available. Avner is very passionate about providing the ideal hearing solutions, alongside a unique and personalised service to every client, enabling them to live life to their fullest, he will always go above and beyond to make sure they are happy. He is the proud owner of the ‘Audiologist of the year 2021’ award. Avner is also trained in offering ear wax removal services using the Tympahealth microsuction system.
Health & Personal
Outside of work Avner is a keen squash player, he is actively involved with his community. He enjoys spending time with his wife and children and believes this is very important for a clear work life balance.
